Working on
I lead special projects at the Invasive Species Council of BC: wild pig surveillance, best practices for utility rights-of-way, training, and a shoreline restoration project at New Brighton Park in Vancouver and Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.
Volunteering
I joined the board of the Kanaka Education and Environmental Partnership Society in 2025. I lead nature walks at Kanaka Creek Regional Park, help run community events, and pitch in at the Bell-Irving Hatchery when I can, clipping fins, feeding, and releasing coho and pink salmon.
Learning
My field background is invasive species. I am building depth in the wider picture: riparian areas, habitat assessment, and watershed work, starting with Streamkeepers training and the riparian regulation course.
